#ThickTrunkTuesday – kiddo for scale 🍌

We actually had to try a few #trees and look for slimmer ones, or kiddo's hands wouldn't have been visible at all. 😅 There were splendid mature trees in the Parc d'Osseghem #Laeken behind the Atomium in #Brussels.

As I said the other day, the #cemetery was closed, but I was able to take a few photos through the fence. It's the oldest cemetery in #Brussels still in use and is often called the Père-Lachaise of Belgium.
The original #bronze of Rodin's The Thinker belongs to the tomb of art collector Jef Dillen, purchased in 1927 to serve as his own memorial.

#FensterFreitag in #Brussels near the Church of Our Lady of Laeken in the Laeken/Laken district. Quite an impressive (and important) church, as I learnt just now. It has a famous cemetery, which we passed by! Unfortunately the gates to the cemetery were closed, but I took a few photos through the fence. 😍
