Day 307
#365project

I've been stalking this tree for a couple of weeks hoping for just the right light/sky/leaves combo and it looks like today is the best it was going to get. It was getting progressively balder, too, so that helped seal the deal. The pair of crows that hang out here didn't mind my daily recon visits, either.

Also, just got home from watching 𝘞π˜ͺ𝘀𝘬𝘦𝘳 and it was delightful. ✨

Good luck today, America! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Day 306
#365project

A view from our hike up Pen yr Ole Wen today for #MountainMonday. Sadly, we didn't hit the summit. We did about 80% of the hike, but with a late start, the shorter days, bitterly biting wind, and what looked like 'some weather' rolling in, we played it safe and headed back down. We shall tackle it again one day... when it's warmer.

"Coed Nursery"
Took a quick trip over to a small woodland in town to snap today's offering. Autumn is my favourite season and the weather is absolutely delightful at the moment.

Also got to rewatch two classics in the cinema again tonight: Pan's Labyrinth and Donnie Darko. Both so beautiful and original in completely different ways.

A good day.

The Abandoned Cottage for #FensterFreitag (and an early #SpookySaturday). I imagine that Miss Havisham would feel right at home here...

Day 302
#365project

We did a leisurely hike around Dorothea Quarry this afternoon. The sun was out, the air was crisp, and the views weren't half bad.

My rook buddy for #Birbsday. What a looker, right? This one hangs back on the fence when I come with the nuts. Then it spends so much time trying to chase the jackdaws away, that it often misses out on everything. It's quite fun to watch. I always throw an extra handful, though. 😊

Having seen some beautiful corvids recently from @knighterrant255, @olim@pixelfed.de, and @webidebi@mastodon.social, I thought today was a good day to jump in.
