Day 306
#365project

A view from our hike up Pen yr Ole Wen today for #MountainMonday. Sadly, we didn't hit the summit. We did about 80% of the hike, but with a late start, the shorter days, bitterly biting wind, and what looked like 'some weather' rolling in, we played it safe and headed back down. We shall tackle it again one day... when it's warmer.

Some days I can't decide what to post for my 365 project. It could be that I've taken a few that I really like or (more often, sadly) that I'm underwhelmed with them and, on the worst days, think they all absolutely suck. πŸ˜• On days like these, I'll send Aled a few options and let him pick. Today I gave Aled a chocie and he picked this one... And then I promptly rejected it for being boring. πŸ˜†

He always takes it in stride but I felt bad about it (🀏) so I thought that maybe I'll occasionally post one that he likes, even if it's not what I was hoping for.

With that, I present the very first #AledsPick.

My morning walk near Ballerup took me past this little lake, which I think deserves a bit of attention. On the other hand, it’s also nice to have it all to oneself. Even though lots of people live nearby, there is almost never anyone else walking here.
