I've been stalking this tree for a couple of weeks hoping for just the right light/sky/leaves combo and it looks like today is the best it was going to get. It was getting progressively balder, too, so that helped seal the deal. The pair of crows that hang out here didn't mind my daily recon visits, either.

Also, just got home from watching 𝘞𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘳 and it was delightful. ✨

A view from our hike up Pen yr Ole Wen today for #MountainMonday. Sadly, we didn't hit the summit. We did about 80% of the hike, but with a late start, the shorter days, bitterly biting wind, and what looked like 'some weather' rolling in, we played it safe and headed back down. We shall tackle it again one day... when it's warmer.

Nun bin ich ein Jahr hier bei Pixelfed und es gefällt mir sehr gut hier . Ich habe in diesem Jahr so viele Fotos von euch gesehen . Habe gelächelt , war fasziniert und habe gestaunt . So viele Möglichkeiten , etwas in einem Foto auszudrücken . Momente festzuhalten . So viele Stile und Arten der Fotografie . Und alles ohne Algorithmen und Werbung . Großartig . Danke an die Admins , die ständig die App verbessern . Danke an euch , das ihr meine Fotos favorisiert und teilt .

I’ve been here on Pixelfed for a year now and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve seen so many photos from you all this year. They’ve made me smile, fascinated me and left me in awe. There are so many ways to express something through a photo. To capture moments. So many styles and types of photography. And all without algorithms or adverts. Brilliant. Thanks to the admins who are constantly improving the app. Thank you to all of you for favouriting and sharing my photos.
